Weijuaru is the son of a Burnt Country Lord and a Juathuur woman. He was taken into the Juathuur as a boy, but deserted when he had a vision that convinced him to succeed his father’s title. Subsequently, he clawed his way into Kingship and turned the Burnt Country into a haven for Juathuur deserters.
Although he is technically in his thirties, his overuse of shift magic has shortened his body’s experience of time so that he appears much younger.
Since the events that transpired at the battle of Erab Adur, he has been in a self-induced time-coma, stopping time for himself in order to halt the corruption of his signature by Beisaru. His string-spirit, however, has been wandering about the Inverse with Faevv’s father.
Weijuaru is also known as Juar and the Salamander King.
Weijuaru has had a son named Juinn with Shugasi.
