In the Juathuur universe, there are 52 entities who call themselves Gods.
According to Merlu, the gods were once human but most lost their
memories of that time when they became gods. Each god is designated a number
that ranks them in the order they awakened to their godhood. This number is
their primary name, but some gods have other names that they gained during
their contact with mortals. The top 14 gods are known as the Fortnos and form
the central council. The entire 52 gods are as follows:
